your fine. your only pulling about 8.5 amps from the battery. if it's not getting warm then you have a good battery. and have nothing to worry about
Assuming 10% efficiency loss and a cutoff voltage of 3.2V...

Before the battery goes dead the output could easily be...

3.2 volts
10.3125 amps
33 watts

Not where I'd want to be with an unknown/untested ICR battery, personally. At least not up to my mouth.

To add to that...

Open air battery bays and ventilation holes in the charger body MAY be a bit of over compensation.

But it's a safety net, I'd highly prefer to keep functional.

All lipo sacs are not created equal. Some don't breath at all making them even more of an increase in potential risk. Some burst open during an event exposing whatever is nearby to the volatile flames they're supposed to contain making them completely useless.

A false sense of security.

I'd much prefer we rely on the safety nets in place then tirelessly and fruitlessly be forced to lecture the community on what makes for even a useful lipo sac, let alone a good one.
