RY4 What is It? and Mixing Questions

I am just starting to DIY juice and I see this RY4 and RY4D as a "base". What is it? I plan on using e-juice calculator from Breaktru.com, 50/50 100mg/ml nic to an 18% level. I have bought VG and PG and the following flavors: French Pipe by tobacco Express,
Anise by Capella,
Nut mix by FlavourArt,
American Tobacco USA blend by Flavor West,
Hazelnut by Flavor West.
Can I use the American Tobacco as my base flavor or is a base flavor just the PG/VG AND nic?
