Trident V2 single wire - dual coil build

I briefly saw part of a youtube video about making a simple dual coil using a single strand of wire. So... I decided to try it on my Trident V2 clone. I have to say it was really easy to build and install and it vapes great! The hardest part was judging how far apart to make each coil.

28 gauge, 6 wraps each, 2mm ID = .4 Ohms







Using it on a Launcher V1 with a Sony VTC4.

I have a Patriot clone and an Aqua as well that I might try to dual coil using a single wire.

I'm wondering how many other people dual coil this way and any tricks of the trade?

I have an Omega that I do that on as it has no holes in the posts, tighten it it down under the screws, run light strand of cotton with even tails then tuck the tails under the coils as there is plenty of room. Latest build is 26 ga 4 or 5 wraps on 7\64 bit, macro coil I guess, liking it with 50\50 5 pawns gambit.

I single wire - dual coiled my aqua the other night. It was a lot harder and looks ugly but so far it's been the best build in it to date (vapor and flavor wise). The wire between the two coils I looped around the post, next time I'll just capture the wire under the nut. Looping the wire was overkill I think.

Built a dual-wire quad coil this morning! Came out pretty good!
