May be if i was the boss (captain) and could decree anything I wanted I's say only mods with built in batteries and nothing above 100 watts max. I might arrange to have ecigs available for sale if the ship has a commisary. I might go a step further and say only OEM chargers or chargers with a UL listing and I'd sell good ones in the commisary. vaping is an asset to the military if it keeps sailors in better health. Most will get VA benefits.

So, I was just telling my husband about this latest development and here is what he said - quote:

"So, ships which carry tomahawk cruise missiles are banning vape pens because they might explode? If vape pens are that damn dangerous maybe we should drop 'em all over Afghanistan - we could finally win the war!"

Hahaha..

No one said our government had any common sense - nor has it ever been accused of having our serving men and women's (or the general publics at large) best interests at heart.
