Vamo ohm readings way different

I have a couple vivi novas that i rebuilt the heads and and the evic read 2 ohms. Now i screw it on the vamo and it will read 2 one time then the next .9, so i unscrew it screw it back and now 1.2. Then i repeat and it might read 2 or it may still read something under 1.3. What is causing the way out of wack readings on the vamo cause me evic reads it within .2 most all the time? At first when i noticed this it didnt bother me but the last time i had to screw it on and off 10 times to get the vamo to register a reading it would fire at.

My only experience with this kind of behavior was with bad coil. It would show me different ohms every time and then go to 9.9 like there's nothing at all. Replaced coil on rda and it's good again

p.s. no idea why evic does what it does But, my ego batts did fire that atty without any problems.

Thanks il rebuild that coil and see if that fixes it just seemed odd that that coil has been working fine on the evic wasnt sure if it was the vamo since i just got it.

well redone it used 32g kanthal 4 wraps and it was doing the same thing. Pulled it and done it again with 5 wraps and works but 2.4. Odd thing is i have another with 4 wraps i think and it reads 1.6 everytime on the vamo. So im wondering if it is the stem that has a problem.

Have you cleaned the threads with alcohol?

May even be a bad post on that tank or poor grounding point.

Funny you say that cause i did that before reading what u posted and that fixed it. Didnt think it needed cleaned since its only 2 days old.
