I've not had a Vamo to compare, but I have had the MVP1. I won mine in a raffle giveaway. It became one of my everyday favorite mods to use along with my Provari's until I payed-it-forward to a close friend who is trying it out to stop smoking.

My MVP was comfortable to hold and not too heavy, extremely easy to learn how to use, very pocket-friendly. Sturdy construction and with a classy appearance - it looks nothing like most tube mods that look like something from a head shop or a lady's play toy. Versatile for both home and outside the house. 2 - 3 days charge with the built-in battery. You can charger your cell phone or iPod from its powerful battery.

Not much to not like about the MVP. The MVP2 has a built-in ohm meter and variable wattage in addition to variable voltage. Kit comes with charging cord and one or two iClear clearomizers.
