I'm not sure if this is a type of battery, battery compartment, is this to add a fuse for a mech mod?

My story: I am looking for an inexpensive mechanical to give sub-ohm a try.

I found this one on fast tech $21.15 Origin Style Mechanical Mod - adjustable throw / w/ kick tube at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping that specifies the +kick

Two others I found I am interested in:

$29.08 Nemesis Mechanical Mod - stainless steel / with telescopic 510 center pin at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping nemesis clone
$19.50 EA-II Mechanical Mod - green ring / 510 telescopic pin at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping EA-II

I specifically want something that I can use with a 18350 also (and no I am not going to sub-ohm when using 18350)

The kick is used in mech mods to provide a variable wattage setup. I'm not sure if you can use sub-ohm coils with it but I'm not sure why you would want to. If you were vaping sub-ohm at 25 watts, using a kick would limit you to 12 or 15 watts (not sure how high it goes). It would negate the true purpose of sub-ohm vaping.
