I just got some new ego-t atomizers and I burnt one. I put a brand new tank on it, but the wick didn't penetrate the tank, instead it just pushed against the silicone cap, since it's the new soft silicone type cap, it gives. When I realized what was happening I pulled the tank out then stuck it back in hard and fast and it punctured it like it should, but the damage was done, my new atomizer tastes burnt.
So a word of caution about putting on a new ego-t soft cap tank, don't do what I did. I should have realized what was happening when the cap sort of wanted to push back out on its own and I kept pushing it back in all the way but I didn't realize what was happening till it was too late.
