Price gouging in the classy's

I think it's madness as well - but the market decides. If it sells, then the price was right. If it doesn't, the price is too high.

All I'd like to be assured of is that there is a warning to buyers to check the current retail price before paying for any item. This might help to protect the unwary. Trouble is, no one reads the stickies anyway...

If something is out of stock, then a buyer will pay whatever it's worth to them. If that happens to be double the retail, well, so be it. If they paid, then the price was correct, QED. It may look like profiteering but maybe someone was just lucky that at the time they wanted to sell, the item was also unobtainable. That's capitalism

The fact is, if stuff is out of stock there is obviously a very high demand that cannot be satisfied. The end result of that is that they are worth more. Not really any way round that.

It's a shame the vendors don't do a better job of keeping the PV's and such in stock . That would put a stop to all this " capitalism " I just don't believe in trying to make a living buying and re-selling items in the classies . If I have an item that's not worth very much , such as a well used lavatube , I'd rather give it to someone that needs it , than sell it for 30 or 40.00 I don't need the money , but there's a point where I'd rather give it away or throw it in the trash . Maybe it's just me , and maybe it's a bit of senility . But Hey , at least I got to vent a little .
