In January of 2017, I started a thread in the DIY section entitled "Recipes for Dummies". The idea was to assemble basic and easy recipes for DIY newcomers and people with active lifestyles. Along those lines I asked that recipes posted there have maybe four ingredients at the most, and no decimal points please.
What I found out is that people are proud of their favorite recipes. Over 120 ECF Members contributed, and there are probably somewhere around 200 recipes. Many contain five or more ingredients, and quite a few have ingredients to the 10th or hundredth (decimal points). Nothing against that, or those who contributed such recipes. They are all great, and sharing them has been a wonderful experience.
If you feel the need to adjust the original recipe, that's ok. Most DIY'ers use the original recipe as a starting point, then adjust to their own personal taste.
Bakery Recipes usually need a week or two of steeping.
Most recipes involving Vanilla flavors will also need a week or two or steeping.
tobacco Recipes usually need two to four weeks of steeping.

What I found out is that people are proud of their favorite recipes. Over 120 ECF Members contributed, and there are probably somewhere around 200 recipes. Many contain five or more ingredients, and quite a few have ingredients to the 10th or hundredth (decimal points). Nothing against that, or those who contributed such recipes. They are all great, and sharing them has been a wonderful experience.
If you feel the need to adjust the original recipe, that's ok. Most DIY'ers use the original recipe as a starting point, then adjust to their own personal taste.
Bakery Recipes usually need a week or two of steeping.
Most recipes involving Vanilla flavors will also need a week or two or steeping.
tobacco Recipes usually need two to four weeks of steeping.
