thoughts

So recently, Ive found that what ive done, with my signature.... was not against the rules but it was deleted. It was not an offensive link nor did it single out a member of the community.
It was only a request for opinions and to peacibly assemble.... I was directed, thru another person, to bring it up with the originator that said I cannot have said link, and to take it up with them or the "Head of the IRC chat". Well, one of these two, doesnt accept private messages and the other, doesnt seem to see any of the messages I've sent.

Based on the rules set before me, the link is allowed. It conforms to the rules as they are interpreted.

If I were to read the rules, as they are set before me, the person that said to tak it down, has broken the rules themselves.....

Forum Rules

5. Registration
a. A person is only allowed one member account at ECF. Do not create multiple accounts.

Now, on to the pressing matter of the link that I had in my signature...

6. Messages and Accounts
a. Posts and other public messages (e.g. blogs) must be in English. The International Language Forums are excepted, where posts may be in the appropriate language and script.
b. The Forum Officials reserve the right to edit, move, delete or close any message or thread for any reason. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Administrators is final.
c. The Forum Officials reserve the right to remove, edit or suspend any user account at their discretion. There is no right of appeal.

I will bet this gets deleted as it steps on someones toes.... Before it gets deleted tho, please understand this is NOT a pissing contest.

21. Links
a. Members may link to any website in their posts, provided that the website content broadly aligns with our content policy with regard to acceptability and legality.

Well, it was a link to a public information site, where voices could be heard since, it seems they were suppressed here.

27. Signature (sigs)

b. No affiliate links are allowed in signatures.

It is not an affiliate link nor does it slander the site. It does bring attention to a process that is now broken and needs help....

What I cannot seem to understand is, why are we trying to sweep it under the rug
