Well, I've had my LEO for what, five days now.
Pros:
Super-long battery life! Also, I do not have to pull for as long or as hard as I am accustomed, else I end up getting a nice burnt taste from the cartridge. This adds to the longevity of the battery. It took me over two days to run the battery down.
It charges whilst functioning as a passthrough, and we all love that. This eliminates the need to purchase multiple batteries.
Since it's far higher powered than my old 808, I do not need such a high concentration of nicotine in my juice. Unfortunately, diluting my juices has also weakened their flavour, but I'm getting some DIY supplies. Yay.
It loves the drip method. It works well, without the special drip tip, too. I'm still going to get it, though.
Uses the same mini USB as most digital cameras, so I won't have to order one through the mail, should mine break.
At first glance, and without knowing much about modifications, I think even I could make a juicebox mod for this thing.
It's very easy to clean.
(I have since discovered that I can take nice, full pulls when I use the drip method. This method is surprisingly more convenient than trying to refill cartridges.)
Cons:
It doesn't behave well if accidentally put in your pocket, upside down. In other words, it leaks, under that circumstance.
It's a bit big, which will take some getting used to. I like the convenient size of my old e-cig, but that's really little reason to junk the LEO.
I hate the stupid sparkly "jewel" tips. They look stupid. The thing's a beast, but it looks like my grandmother's costume jewelry. I didn't buy it for its looks, at least.
It doesn't hold as much as a factory-filled 808 cartridge, so I am having to get used to carrying a bottle of ejuice with me. This is only a minor inconvenience, and I must remind myself it's far easier than messing with hand-rolling cigarettes.
The 801 cartridges it's supposed to work with seem to easily burn with large pulls. It's quite the revolting flavour. They also do not wick very well. I can only refill two to three drops of liquid at a time, which does last for perhaps the duration of a cig and a half? I've found that dripping seems to be the way to go. The flavour is much better and cleaner. I'm sure that is something I can mess around with.
Liquid wicks up the outside of the cartridge insert. No, this doesn't get juice in my mouth, but it does make it messy when I refill the cartridges. This beast definitely is better for dripping than for use with cartridges.
All in All....
I like my Boge LEO, and would definitely recommend it. It just takes a little getting used to.
