One month stinkie free!! Wow, what an accomplishment.
I've learned so much this past month. This ECF community has been so great. Plenty of great info, great people, and great APV's.
I've been slacking on my blogs lately. Haven't been completely adamant about posting up my experiences and my thoughts on the things that I've tried along my journey towards vaping heaven. Part of all that has been due to real life.
There's this realm called real life that exists outside of the vaping community and these forums. Sometimes it's a scary place full of challenging obsticals that must be overcome in order to further my quest in finding my perfect vape. Also, it has to do with the fact that I've been trying to squeeze in as much ride time as I can before the riding season comes to an end. Soon I will be riding not merely for pleasure but purely for transportaion. Not to far behind that I will NOT be riding and driving my truck rather because the roads will not permit me to safely operate my motorcycle. Those will be sad days indeed.
Vaporcon is coming up soon!! I hope everyone that's getting a chance to attend has a great time. I hope you all go and get shiny new things and post all sorts of pics and reviews of them. I hope you get that APV you've had your eye on but haven't been able to get a hold of. I hope you bring back all sorts of things that you never even thought you'd wind up with but happened to grab because it was oh so cool, or you just couldn't picture your future self without one.
This is indeed a great time to be a vaper. There are so many new and interesting things coming out. If you are at all like me you want to get your hands on and fire up almost all of them. I can say with confidence if I had the means, I'd be the guy that walks into vapercon and says, "I'll have one of each thank you." I can only be that guy in my dreams (until I win the lottery).
I've run across plenty of generous people here on these forums. This is not only good for personal karma but also this is great for the community. Some people may not be able to obtain things that will help them along thier vaping journey. I would suggest that when you can, help these people out. You have some things sitting around gathering dust? There are plenty of people here on these forums or even in your own community that would greatly appreciate and forever be greatful to recieve these types of things.
After all, for some people vaping is a means to an end. To quit smoking. I believe for a majority of us though, vaping is a hobbie (a very addictive one at that). Between all your impulse buys and gotta have's, remember that not everyone may be as fortunate. Spread the wealth. Share the love. Help introduce more people that are smokers to the world of vaping. It will only make our community grow stronger and be that much better for introducing more great people to the forums.
Soon enough I will be posting more of my review-esque type blogs. I basically just wanted to take the time in this one to thank everyone here on this forum for all the advice and support given that's helped me so much along my path. To mention the fact that a little bit of kindness goes a very, very long way. To maybe get some more people to spread the word, to help to educate more people about vaping that may not know about it.
Vape in public. Don't be shy. Be prepared to answer questions and direct those interested to this forum and to a place where they may get into the wonderful world of vaping. You may be suprised the kinds of people you meet and the possible new friends you could make just by doing that. I take my fav vap with me everywhere, and I vape it proudly. Ive been approached by old and young people alike. I've even given a lil bit of show and tell to some of the most unlikely characters (at a bike rally).
Anyways, before this starts turnign into a rambling rant. Vape on everyone. Keep on keepin on and...
