So yesterday I couldn't resist any longer and despite not having the preferred materials went ahead with a build.
Very simple design but works extremely well considering the plastic that covers the copper strip you touch is a bit of the plastic bag the USB cable came in.
The PT has a 3m cable and is direct no battery so powered hub/mains adapter only but the button is fantastic.
You only need to put your finger on the switch and it fires, remove finger and it stops - can't get better than that and it's flat takes up near as dammit no space and cost less about a penny.
