Man.
I am still on the search for the perfect all-day vape. I'm having a hell of a time. I can't do the sweets all day--although some of them, like Vapor Bomb's green apple, which smells and tastes EXACTLY like Jolly Ranchers, are very delicious. The problem with those is that I can only take a couple of hits, and then I'm done. They literally make my teeth hurt.
I veered toward tobacco flavors for a while, but even some of those were too sweet for me, with that unpleasant (for me) pipe tobacco flavor lingering longer than I'd like. I am a very, very big fan of coffee, so I started on a search for a yummy, not-sweet coffee flavor. I drink coffee with cream only, so I was looking for something like that: full-bodied coffee with a creamy element. The first coffee I got was Ms. T's coffee with cream, and it helped me to discover that most coffee flavors straight out of the mailbox have a very alcohol-y zip to them, so they need ample time to steep. Ms. T's is still the best-tasting coffee that I've tried, but the flavor is inconsistent and wicking is weird depending on whether I'm using an 808 carto, 510 atty/cart, CE2, or 510 carto. Frustration.
I've tried coffee, cappuccino, or espresso flavors from Vapor Bomb, Vapor 4 Life, Ms. T's, Backwoods Brew, VapoRenu, Liberty Flights, and Liquid Xpress. Nothing is really doing it for me, know what I mean? I've got new flavors coming from BWB and VapeRite, so I haven't given up hope yet. I have read through every coffee liquid review I could find on ECF. If I EVER find that perfect coffee vape, even my buddy Evilcute in Australia will hear my whoop of triumph.
I'm also always open to other non-sweet flavors--ginseng and green-tea types sound like they would be awesome, but in reality they carry a really "dusty" throat-hit that is pretty unpleasant. I do have a couple of bottles of these flavors that I've put away for a while, so I may give them another shot and see if they've changed on the steep.
I like the tobacco flavors, and Tasty Vapor's tobacco is my favorite for diluting some of the sweet flavors or too-sweet coffee liquids, even though on its own it's a bit sweet. I like V4L's pre-filled 555, RY4, Hilton, Dunhall, and Kamel cartos, but I had to drop my nic level because I was overdoing the vaping and getting the shakes (whoops). I vape for the same reasons that I smoked: the taste (I know, it seems real stoopid now) and the nicotine. So I tend to hit my PV all day long, especially since I can vape at work with nothing but encouragement from the co-workers. The tobacco flavors don't quite taste the same with the lower nic level, which is a shame, and I haven't found a tobacco flavor to refill with that I really like. I have new tobacco flavors coming, too, so fingers crossed, again.
Is there anyone else who is having problems finding a delicious non-sweet flavor? There's something really special about being able to take a long hit and then go "mmmmmmmmmmmm" with a satisfied smile on your face, isn't there? I've taken a couple of those hits, but I want more.
Anyone want to make recommendations?
