From the moment I vaped my first draw on an eCig I never touched another analog. Until just now.
Been smoke free for just over a month. Had a shipping issue with my "go to" eJuice (menthol) and for the past week have had to vape some Mint I ordered 2 weeks ago, and didn't care for the taste of that eJuice at all. Was out and about shopping, really missing that lung hit that menthol gives (my order won't be here till Friday). And, I started craving a cig. Thought, Oh, it's just a weird moment, will go away soon. But, after an hour of the cigarette crave persisting, I broke down and bought a pack of my old favorite, Marlboro Blue.
Stepped outside of the 7-Eleven and lit up. Three to four puffs later I was completely unimpressed. Not that it tasted that bad, I did notice the yuk "burntness" of the smoke right away. Rather, the lung hit I get from
vaping was non-existent! There was zero flavor. And, I don't mean eJuice flavor. More, the menthol was flat and tasteless compared to my go to eJuice menthol. I dropped the thing to the ground, smooshed it out with my shoe, picked it up and tossed the nasty thing in the dumpster with the 19 other death sticks in the pack.
Once I bought the pack I actually looked forward, with great anticipation, to that feeling you get from smoking a cigarette after not having one for an extended period of time - a month in this case. Nothing. Zilch.
Now I KNOW why
vaping works. It is a BETTER experience than smoking. Well, I've passed the point of no return on this. It's
vaping or nothing. LOL! I went back to my car, took out my Pig Cig, put in a freshly filled cartomizer and vaped away. Mint and all. Relishing every puff. One other interesting part of the cig falter. It felt so small and useless. Too short, too light. No button to push. No glowing LED. Just a little thing in my hand. Weird.
Vape it or Smoosh it, I say!
