My new CE2 tank mod

Hi all,
I just wanted to show off my new tank mod i made.I really did'nt create it,but instead took it from the example on "theecigstop.com."
All the parts cost me a total of about $17.00.I purchased a 3 foot piece of polycarbonate tube from amazon, with shipping that cost me $14.00 and the end caps from Ace hardware were like .59 cents a piece,i brought 4 of them. The first Ace i went to did'nt have them. They did'nt even know what i was talking about.I did find them at the next ace though.
Anyhow,i used the metal casing from around a 510 atty to stick through the top,and to hold the tip (i'm using a round plastic cartridge, but you can use a drip tip on if you want).I did find a problem with it though.I purchased the CE2 clearomizers, and after i took of the plastic tubing around the ce2,and went to put it in the bottom,it was very loose. So,i got another old 510 atty, and removed the metal casing, then cut off a piece about 5/16 and pressed it onto the ce2,and BAM fit nice and tight like the top piece..This thing vapes like a champ!I'm actually getting a little dizzy...I thinkl i'm gonna have to go down on the nic of my future juice..
One last thing, the end caps i got are SO much better than the grommets, they are really tight, and once you put the 510 metal shells in,it pushes the insides tighter against the inside walls of the poly..They will NEVER leak..
I hope i can post this picture that i'm gonna try right now to show you.If not i will try again later..Hope you like it.

Thats looks great. Could you give some details... What size tube or part number from Amazon and what exactly did you get at Ace. Do you have dimensions and a type? Was it a grommet and what size?

thank
Mike

Hey Mike,The tube is 3/4 OD x 5/8 ID polycarbonate.Don't have the info from the tube anymore, just google it.Amazon sells 3 foot pieces. As far as the washer, its a slip joint washer,i thinks its like a 17/32 X 11/32.But the number is 38809B.Grommets are useless, don't even bother. The slip joint washer fit really tight.
Hope this helps...By the way,i'm re-coiling my ce2's now.I just use a little 2-56 screw with 2 nuts.1 nut holds the end of the coil wires, and the other holds the 2 wires from the center piece and the bottom of the atty connector.I soldered 2 new wires that will last.
