Provari, HH. 357, and an Empiremods Drip Shield!

View attachment 135501

My very first mod and so far that I've found this is my Ideal vape. Is there better?? Maybe. Will I find it?? Eventually.
:matrix:

I got off analogs with an ego twist, 306 LR atty, and a Cherry Vapes Cannon drip tip. In celebration for being 10 days analog free, I ordered up the Provari.

The Ego Twist is a great starter device. I recommend it to anyone looking to try out vaping for their first time. It's simple, affordable, and best of all its variable. This thing paired with the HH. 357 for me was just bliss. The one downfall really was the battery life. Hence the Provari. Go big or go home(and charge your tiny bats lol).

Why the HH. 357 you ask? The FLAVOR. This thing took my favorite juice and turned it into my ultra favorite. It took juices that previously I couldn't taste an any voltage and gave them the flavor as advertised on the bottle. It gives flavors you thought you know certain different undertones that adds that much more to em. If you are willing to spend the extra cash on an atty, you can't really go Wrong with the HH. 357.

What was the difference between the 306, 510, and the 510 hybrid HH. 357? Namely the draw. From the tighter drawing 510 to the seemingly wide open HH. 357. In fact you could almost call the HH. 357 airy. But the flavor was also a determining factor. 510 was decent. If I had to choose between the 510 and the couple of carto's and clearo's I've tried I'd pick the 510. But where I found the 510 to be a little lacking (draw, flavor, TH). I thought I had found in the 306.

The 306 has a slightly looser draw but not airy at all and just a little bit more flavor. Especially after I removed the bridge. I thought that was my perfect vape until I came across the HH. 357.

The HH. 357 has the best flavor I've ever tasted with any device I've ever tried (not all THAT many to be fair and honest). The draw is a little more open than the 306 but not unpleasantly so. The Empiremods drip shield originally was mostly for aesthetics but also to keep juice away from my expensive mod. It also had the awesome little side effect of tightening the draw of the HH. 357 ever so slightly so that it was almost perfect for my preference and looks great to boot.

The Provari... What can I say really?? Worth the money? Sure, definitely. Absolutely imperative? Absolutely not. What this device has going for it is QUALITY. When you first take this thing out of the box and unwrap it you will be impressed. Especially if this is your first mod.

The fit and finish is excellent. The weight of the device some may see as a drawback, for me its totally a plus. I don't feel like I'm going to break this thing. It's weighty yes but not cumbersome. The menu, once you are used to it, is a no brainer and one can access and use the functions flawlessly without a hitch. The voltage is better regulated than the Twist and you can tell. It's provides a better consistent vape than the Twist and the voltage output is pretty spot on to what the display says it is. I love the little bells and whistles.

So far I have not missed my analogs. Don't care if I ever see a cig again. I've found a really good vape and though I'm going to keep experimenting with things this setup will most likely always be a staple and most definitely will be my go-to if I never find anything better though I would like to find a tank that gives a comparable vape. The all day vapeability of a tank is very appealing to me but not enough so to forgo my preferred draw and flavor I get when I'm dripping with the HH. 357.

What's to come next? We'll just have to wait and see :p

yeah, i want a provari bad...but for now, i'll stick with my ego twist. it's gotten me off of analogs (for the most part...still working on that), and i'm still not quite sure how the whole variable voltage/hi-res/lo-res/ohm/mah/blah-blah works, so for most beginners like myself, i would say the ego twist is a great way to start. get a couple of them, a spare charger, a few stardust clearomizers (i've since graduated to vivi nova tanks and such), a bottle or two of good juice, and you're good to go!

thanks for the info on the provari-you've definitely swayed me further over to the dark side. :)

sgenn99 the Provari is nice and as far as I can tell the only real difference from the twist is the bells and whistles though the voltage output I feel but can't confirm it to be more accurate. Of course the larger battery/life was my main reason for the purchase.

As far as ohm/volt/amp/wattt blah blah blah. This is basically what I did. I got a device that I pretty much knew the resistance of from when I bought it. Example 2ohm atty. I put my fav juice in it and started at a low voltage. I would take a tout or 2 at each voltage and adjust it up until I really liked it. Then I looked to see what volt I was at. Turns out I was at 4.2 volts. So I cruised on over to Ohm's Law Calculator and input that information. I found with the help of the calculator that I liked that juice at 8.8 watts~.

So now think of watts as a light bulb. A 75 watt light isn't as bright as a 100 watt lightbulb. In vaperland watts = heat. So basically for my favorite juice I like the heat to be 8.8~. Now no matter what device I use as far as atty/carto/clearomizer I can use the calculator to help me know about what voltage to set it to to find my ideal heat or watts. Hope that helps to clear up that whole mess.

All in all the best thing to do is just adjust the volts til you like it and call it good. Its def much easier and doesn't require the use of a calculator lol.

Happy vaping!!
