I require a new mod and decided to go with the Vamo from www.canvape.com For approx. $120 I will get the device, 6 batteries and a Trustfire 4 slot charger. According to CP tracking I should have the package Tuesday afternoon.
I have read a lot of positive feedback about this device. The features of it are very impressive: Variable voltage (up to 6 volts), variable wattage (3 -15 watts), avg or rms output, 5 amp limit, resistance display (ohms) of atomizer and more.
I read on ECF that the electronics used in the device is the same as used by the Smoktech Vmax version 2 ,,, which I guess is good. I can't determine if the device is manufactured by Smoktech: Search results on the net point to Shenzhen RainbowHeaven Technology Co., Ltd--electronic cigarette, e-cigarette, electronic cigarette suppliers Is this the manufacturer or distributor?
The device supports multiple battery configurations: 1 - 18650, 1 - 18350 or 2 - stacked 18350s
I have decided that I want to find out what all the fuss is about using VW instead of using VV. Accordingly, when I get the unit I will apply these settings >>> rms output mode and 8 watts.
I guess for $50 (cost of the Vamo) you can't go wrong for a mod that supports VV and VW ???

CP screwed up: I did not get the device today. Apparently Strathmore is 200 km south of Calgary. How does a package for Strathmore get to Lethbridge? The problem with this is ... since the package got sent to Lethbridge, it will be sent back to the Calgary postal facility for processing which takes a day. Then it will get to Stratmore by Thursday.
