Day 3 - new year new frustrations

ok. So I am a typical noob. Which I hate. I hate the noob time. I was a noob on a Military spouse forum and asked all the dumb questions... I don't want to do that again. Really, there is no reason to have to ask a bunch a questions because I know all the information I want is right here... I just have to find it.

but damn if I can find anything. If I use the search function I get the same thread popping up no matter what I search. "Where's Joker". I hope they found Joker, but he/she is very popular.

510s, 901, J108... Blu, Volcano, Ego, Joye, Riva... everything has about twenty different names and everyone calls it something different. You can see pictures, and quite frankly... they all look crazy and a tad bit phalic. just saying.

It sure would be easier to just keep smoking, but I don't want to. I want to breathe easier so I can play with my kids and keep up with my husband. I want to hike the manitou incline or at the very least, ride my bike around the block without gasping for air.

I need to win the lottery so I can buy one of every type of ecig (pardon me, PV) and juice and cart and carto and drip thingies and atomizers and pass thrus and PCCs just to figure out what is going to suit me and ultimately reach my end goal of being nicotine free.

As a noob, I wish there weren't so many options. I also think that I wouldn't be so frustrated if I hadn't already ordered something that so many people have given so many different opinions on...and STILL isn't here. Another member has suggested another item to me, so when the Blu finally arrives, I think I will go head and return it unopened and then order the Joye 510, and I already have an order written down waiting on payday, and both companies apparently ship much faster than Blu... so maybe that will end my frustration level.

Then I will just need to figure out how to fills the blanks and taste something other than this unimpressive vanilla and tabacco flavor I have been stuck with.

Deep breaths Amber, it will get better. You will get through this, every good thing has some growing pains and a learning curve...just try not to bite the heads off the kids and hubby in the mean time.

Please don't misunderstand. I don't doubt the sincerity of help that this group gives out at all. Several people have taken the time to answer questions and you can see it in every single post on the forum, this forum has "Good People"

I just don't want to be the annoying one that asks the question, that has been asked by 1000 other people when the answer is obviously right there. And with a forum this large, and this friendly, I know the answer is there and I am just not looking in the right place.

The really good news is that as soon as I vented my frustration, I found one of the answers I was looking for.

Thank you, for being one of the good people, and congrats on your vaping as well!

It is confusing as hell! Don't get discouraged, don't beat yourself up, and don't set yourself limits and restrictions! Just do what you can, ease into it, and play around. I'm pretty much a noob myself, I think (about 4 months vaping and counting), and when I first got all my stuff, I freaked out a little. I realized immediately that I will never be a modder. Too hard! Too complicated! SO MUCH HARDER than just picking up and lighting a cigarette! But you know what's pretty close? Vapor 4 Life. The easiest thing I have, for sure. I don't know what kind of flavors you like, but their pre-filled carts are rad for a noobie. For morning when I'm really craving a cigarette, I vape their Kamel or 555 (18 mg), and they have a pretty good sweet RY4. I haven't tried a lot of their flavors (their coffees kinda suck) but there are tons of reviews on their site. And their blanks are good if you have a liquid you already like. Get two batteries, auto and manual, and try them out. Not a super-long life, but pretty short charge times and consistent vape. Even though I like my E2 cartos and my Rivas, when I'm feeling the frustration of all the parts and pieces and stuff and would almost rather smoke, I head for my Vapor King. (It's an 808, BTW).

Good luck, don't give up, and just go slow until you find what you need. And happy new year!

I also use the vapor 4life. Definitely the easy button. They have tons of pre filled cartos to choose from. You just pick one screw it on and you are good to go. 1recommendation, get some extra batteries ( mine all seem to go dead at the same time) and a pass through. The pt can be plugged into your auto or a computer and it is great! I call it my pacifier. Plug in my net book (you can also get a wall adaptor) and when I am home at night watching tv, don't have to worry about batteries and have time to charge them.
Also, v4l has sales all the time. Shipping is a little high, but very fast

Ps, I am on day 13 w no smokes, and I am the most least likely person to quit
