day 6, so says the banner in my signature. I am not cnvinced that it is correct... but doing the math... it is right! Which means I will be a week off cigarettes as of tomorrow. Go me!
I am pleased, but not really celebrating yet. The last time I quit, I made it 79 days before I had a rather personal heartbreak and incredibly stressfull situation and I started back. i will celebrate at 80 days.
I never counted out the days from the last time I quit until now. It is sad that I know the exact date and time I smoked my last cigarette and the date and time I started again. The fact that it was 79 days I find somewhat amusing as well, again, for personal reasons.
So at 80 days, I will have to throw myself a party. So that is it, If I can still count correctly, March 17 will be day 80. Since that is a Thursday, I will wait until the 18th, and then throw a party. I have plenty of time to sort out the details. Maybe I can talk the hubby into taking me out for a night on the town, if not, I'll go shopping with the money I am saving from not smoking. lots of options there, something to work toward, and something to be proud of.
