Dual Heater 3 ohm Coils In Parallel

I think we are being duped by whoever designed such a misengineered cartomizer. What is the rational on having such a low total resistance? Was a larger gauge heating wire material not available at the time when the prototype was being made?
A dual higher resistance heating elements should have been chosen to have a combined resistance in parallel rather than 1.5 ohms. I do not believe that they were concern about having it operational even if one coil goes out (limp mode?). That is rediculous. You sell less not more cartos that way. Why not just a single heating coil with the usual 2.2-3.0 ohms? Most vapers do not have any electronic background to understand all these mambo jumbos to be able to vape at their leisure. The myth is spreading like wild fire: high voltage is the most important feature to have on a pv. Also the lower the resistance the higher the voltage setting must be chosen. What is going on, people???
