E-Juice Commentary

So, I've been vaping with my newbie gear for about 3 weeks. The hardware I am using is fine, and besides the minor issues associated with cleaning and maintenance, all is well.

E-juice, on the other hand, is a big problem.:(

B&M E-juice - Blech!

The only e-juice I've vaped so far is from a local B&M that makes their own. After vaping some 3 bottles of different flavors (and one that is being steeped), I'm convinced these are very weakly flavored e-juices. Either that or my newbie gear just doesn't have the ability one needs for tasty e-juice. Personally, I'm convinced it's a bit of both.

Online E-Juice
In another 10 days or so I'll be placing an e-juice order online. I know who I am going to order from, so the only decision will be what e-juice to order. Once I've vaped those for a week or 3, I'll post a real review.

E-Juice Bottles
As a newbie, I'm annoyed with my occasional tank over-fill. The local B&M e-juice bottles are the cheapo plastic type, and if I have to empty my tank, the e-juice can't be put back into the bottle.

At this point, I am kicking myself that I waited to buy some glass dropper bottles. Big BIG mistake. My original thought was that I would only need to do that if I got into the whole DIY e-juice thing. Not TRUE!.

  1. Glass bottles are safer then plastic. Steeping an e-juice in plastic, yuck! Using a hot water bath for a fast steep? Double YUCK!
  2. Glass dropper bottles make it easier to fill the "clearomizer / tanks" that one uses with newbie batteries such as Joyetech.
  3. Glass bottles can be used if you need to empty a tank for whatever reason.
  4. Glass bottles can be used to mix flavor into a weak e-juice.
  5. Glass bottles will be part of any mixologist's (e-juice DIY'er) equipment kit.

So, a word to vaping newbies. Your going to buy a lot of e-juice. You will over-fill your tank. You will probably want to flavor e-juice that needs a kick. Do yourself a huge favor and buy 5-6 glass dropper / vial bottles. *You will probably get a better price online.

Note: If you have a few glass bottles lying around that contained medicinals, oils, etc, be sure to clean, clean clean them. Do not use glass bottles that had non-food / IE non-edible contents in them!

Note: If your doing the (link) hot-steep thing, you might also want to purchase some glass vials with hard plastic screw-on tops. Hot water will eventually degrade the rubber top of dropper bottles.
