More than a year after MaltaToday revealed that the Health Ministry had classified the tobacco-free ‘e-cigarette’ as a tobacco product, a legal notice has established that even these devices will fall under the smoking ban.
I would like to inform you that the Electronic Cigarette has not been banned in Malta ! For Legal issues it has been classified as regular cigarettes, thus it can be sold but cannot be freely advertised and cannot be smoked in public places. The Maltese elctronic cigarette Vapers can still enjoy their e cigarette without the added Tar and the other nasty chemicals found in regular cigarettes.
