Gas Fired Vaping

I went to a Tobacco Store today and showed the owner several of my Mods. After He showed me what he had that would be similar.

He showed me a Gas Powered "Iolite" type of item that had a chamber, a $40 "Atty" that you could buy for it that was a "Cone" shaped metal piece with a "Resovior" in the middle to put "E Liquid" instead of tobacco leaf and if you did not put that in the middle of the "Chamber" you would just put the tobacco in it and then when you hit the button, a "Blue Flame" came out and shot power to the Chamber and either burnt the tobacco or turned the e liquid into vapor.

It was called "Smoke or Vape." I did not try it because it was $100 for the unit and again another $40 for the "Atty" as it was named on the packaging.

I think the thing that I don't like is making the liquid into vapor due to extreme "Heat."

For me, vaping has been a "Warming" effect to not fully "Burn" it and thus, much different from smoking. Machines such as this are there to convince the vaping person, that if you put a "Flame" on your liquid, it would work just as well and for sure, it "Weighed" a lot less than did my "Helix" and "Provari."

But the thing that did happen today was that the owner of the Shop and I had a "Shared" experience. He did also have the cheaper "Disposeable E Cig."

It does take some energy and courage, but if you bring your vaping item out and start using it as I did in this Store, people will be curious and want to know what it is you are doing. We must remember that even though you may have been vaping for a while, that the majority of people on this Earth do not have any idea what it is and like this owner, the thought that "Nicotine" is what kills people, not the "Combustion" of lighting the tobacco and how different "Extreme Heat" on e liquid is from the "Warming" that the batteries give us.

I think that these "Iolite" type items have a place for the vaper that does not want to change batteries, but I still don't fully understand how you can use a "Fire" on e liquid and have it be a similar flavor than a battery powered vape item.

The owner did not convince me to buy one, but it did get me to think about it which led me to write about it.

My guess is that some vapers will buy these items and be very happy. I think I would be very curious and get some tobacco to put in it to see how it did... and then I am smoking again after 2 years of giving it up... Like addictions say "1 day at a time." And that has gone on for this long period.. The question is: Am I willing to take the chance that "Combustion" can work with vaping and I think one day I might buy one... but not today.
