Hardware : Blaze Deluxe Kit and Cuban Cigar

I generally don't do hardware reviews. The experience with a device by different users is as varied as the taste buds with juice. I have decided to just do reviews when I have time, so why limit myself.

I do have a fondness for "stick" style batteries. When stress is high they really bring back the calming effect that my brain has been trained with for 20 years, so I have quite a collection (407X, M1-4, 808, 510......). My first e-cig was given to me and was a "Smoking Everywhere" with atty and a couple of carts. My first purchase was an NJoy from a convenience store and the story continues from there.

Just for reference, I am currently using a Limited Edition Stainless Steel Mini LavaTube with Stainless capped tank (3.5ml Fatty) for out and about and a Limited Edition Stainless Steel LavaTube with Stainless capped 5ml tank. Both are topped with Ming style drip tips.

Blaze Deluxe Kit

The flavor of the carto's (2 included in kit) were a good, strong tobacco flavor.
Clean with very little aftertaste and a moderate throat hit. I was surprised by
the performance of the carto compared to many other convenience models.
The batteries feel solid and they held the charge while off the charger for an
extended time period. I used the kit as my "Carry-on" for a long flight and they
worked great. I had charded the battery when I landed and it was still holding
a charge a week later when I caught the return flight home.
This is a good starting point for a smoker to see if they will enjoy using an ecig.

Personal Notes:
The price is a little high for me, but would not be bad on a retail shelf. No
"Wall Wart" for the charger so a USB hub or wall wart would be needed. I am not a
fan of the "Looks like a cig", and I think most people would prefer a favorite color.
I would definately advise any user to pick up 2 kits if they are a heavy smoker.
Carto refil pack - 3$ for a carto is a bit high, but for a retail shelf, this is
definately a fair price point. The performance of the Blaze over other brands
was really surprising and the refills are less costly than NJoy or XHale.

Overall value: I think there will be alot of short term new users, but they will
research cost before too long and likely move to something less expensive
even if they continue to use the batteries. Selling empty blaze carto's and
refill liquid would help further the brand as a serious ecig supplier.

Cuban Cigar (Disposable)

I am not, by nature, a cigar smoker. That does not mean that I never smoked a cigar, but it does mean that I was not a daily cigar smoker or connoisseur of fine cigars. I do enjoy a nice stogey with my Scotch on occasion, and my typical purchase price was about 5-10$ a cigar when I could buy them. So, I poured a double of Glen Fiddich 12 reserve and kicked back to check this thing out.

That being said - WOW! When I opened the pack I noticed the smell of a humidor. The earthy sort of smell that you would expect when opening the door to a cigar shop. At that point I went to my "library" and sat on the couch with high expectations.

I must say that I was not let down. The weight was very comfortable and the flavor was fantastic. I have only tried a few cigar e-liquids, but this was hands down the best so far. The flavor was rich and deep, slightly smoky with a mild honeyness to it. This was just above and beyond what I expected. The only thing that was a little bit of a letdown was the battery life. It began to get weak around the time I finished the third drink (which is very admirable and longer than a normal cigar would have lasted me). I didn't finish it off and I hope the battery holds a charge for the next time I am in the mood for one.

The biggest con for me is that it is disposable, and although it is certainly a decent price for a disposable cigar, there was just not quite the value of a true disposable in it for me. My "What a
great deal" price would be 10$, but these were certainly the best tasting cigar liquid I have found.

I would love it if they sold the Juice that is in these things. If they could make it rechargable with a small tank I would definately pick one up for the end table in the library. I would put it in my empty humidor and put it right next to my e-pipe without a second thought.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I did receive these products free. These are my own thoughts on the products.
I will gladly review any vendors product, but I would certainly post it in the review if they tried to sway my review with any promises or conditions.
I received no request other than "Please review these and give us feedback" from Blaze.
