I finally had a chance to order ejuices from Heathers Heavenly Vapes in Feb 2013. It was a small order as I usually do with a new vendor I haven't tried. Three from the Purity line, Heavenly Army, Serendipity and Shadow and two fruity ones, Island Dream and Pineapple Mango Smoothie. Tried them out and they were okay to good juices. They did not wow me or knock my socks off so I set them aside and went back to my regular juices.
In March I was going through my juice stash looking for something different to vape and realized that HHV was just sitting there so I took another shot at it. I really wanted to enjoy Shadow and Heavenly Army, just didn't do it for me. I was advised to give it more time from an ECF member, about 6 months, which takes it to Labor Day. I can do that. (Remember I said I have a juice stash, I wasn't kidding. Thankfully there are new vapers at work that I've been PIF).
Now comes Serendipity....hmmm....not sure on this but I keep picking it up. I'm enjoying it more as I vape. What is that flavor? I taste coffee, chocolate and tea notes and I'm enjoying the tobacco as well. I vaped it until it was gone. I used a syringe to get the last bits of juice out of the bottle! Okay...there is one drop left and I will admit to sniffing the bottle on occasion.
I'm intrigued. Is it the blend of flavors or the NET that I was enjoying? I kept thinking about that juice EVEN as I was vaping other juices. That has never happened with a tobacco (NET) juice before.
I kept reading and learning about NETs on the Natural Tobacco thread. Great information there, take notes folks 'cause it sure helped me in my quest. Thanks NET'ers for keeping it going even though I can't contribute much. I'm back to DIY again, only with NETs as my main focus. I started making my own extractions from cigar and pipe tobaccos. Thank you Scarf-ace for the inspiration.
My quest? In search of my own serendipity, my own happy place juice. HHV Serendipity ejuice can't be cloned since I do not know which NET HHV uses (yet) or their formula/recipe. I may be able to come up with my own version of what it tastes like to me. It may be dang smack dead-on HOLY COW! I did it! or as far as WHAT THE HECK?! yuck-spit not even close. Doesn't matter. It's the learning experience, DIY or a vendor's juice.
And last but not least, I do have to say thanks to Mr. Mann for his hint on another thread that got me thinking....not a clone...but my own.
