Looks like my commitment to post once per day went right out the window. Now, there *were* circumstances. Moving. Renovating. More renovating. What I figured would have taken a week has stretched out into going on two months. Plus my main computer's master boot record borked out, and I can't stand typing on the netbook backup we have. Plus I procrastinated for quite a while before getting it fixed.
There ya go. Excuses are over.
So, what started out as a remove-and-replace drywall renovation in my basement turned into a gut-the-room-reframe-get-the-electrical-redone-replace-drywall-replace-floor debacle. At least I'm almost done, now. More time to do other things, such as think about getting into rebuildable atomizers.
Well, more than think. I've got a DID on the way soon (I hope), and I've been sponging up knowledge and techniques on how to get it set up properly.
Another thing I've been thinking of doing is repurposing my old pipes into vaping equipment. I love the feel of a pipe in my hand, and I spent some good money on them way back when, so it'd be a shame to let them go to waste.
This would be a lead-in to carving my own pipe mod. For a while now, I've had "carve my own pipe" on my bucket list, and it's something I still really want to do. I just couldn't think of a way to justify it since I'm not smoking anymore, until martinc over in the Canadian forum posted a pic of his carto-pipe.
I also want to try extracting my own pipe tobacco flavouring. Pipes are the one thing I still miss about smoking, and I'd love to have a good pipe-flavoured e-liquid in my lineup.
Anyway, just an update into the vaping world of MisterMike.
