Description of product given by company on their website: "Our latest flavor is bound to bring you back to the islands!
Johnson Creek Hawaiian Kona Coffee is a wonderfully rich and robust flavor with just a hint of vanilla and a deep full-bodied aroma!
Perfect for that morning vape! "
The smell: The liquid itself has a very strong/potent coffee smell. After vaping it the first evening, I found the coffee smell to linger in my bedroom for a short while.
The taste: It has a moderately deep strong coffee taste and does taste like an exotic blend. I failed to detect any hint of vanilla though. It has a very very minute sweet undertone on the exhale and it's hard to differentiate if that in fact could be the vanilla or if it's just the VG in the liquid.
Aftertaste: Coffee-ish. And your breath will smell a little bit of it, too.
Vapor production: Lots of Vapor
Throat Hit: Small throat hit. You'd have to keep vaping it for a few minutes to really start to feel it.
My thoughts: All in all it seems pretty true to it's description. I just don't think I would use it as my "morning vape". More like an evening or dessert vape. Strong coffee lovers would like this or those who drink really dark or turkish/greek coffees. You'll probably need to dedicate an atomizer to this liquid as it might be hard to get rid of the taste/smell off of it afterwards. When you first try the liquid I would avoid drinking coffee with it as it may prevent you from fully analyzing the liquid's taste.
Suggestion: Try mixing it with some JC Arctic Mint for an even better treat. I managed to scrounge up a few remaining drops from my Arctic Mint sample bottle and add it to the last dose of Hawaiian Kona Coffee I had left and it was pretty good.
**Next review soon to come: Vanilla Ice Cream**
Please note I spent a couple of evenings to consume the entire sampler bottle before I wrote this review to avoid any trial and error in my taste results. It was tested on a clean unused BE-112 atomizer with a passthrough on a fully-charged kensington power-pack. All liquid is VG based and 18MG strength
