I felt it necessary to blog this post concerning the upcoming legislation in my home state of Kentucky. I agree that it's a sham, but I diasgree that it's coming from an uniformed perspective. Technology has either effectively decimated or irrevocably changed the way many industries have done business for decades. Big tobacco knows this. Ask the former CFO of Tower Records how he feels about iTunes...
This is in response to a quote stating :
Kentucky definitely would be a good state to watch concerning the banning of e-cigarette usage. I guarantee other states of the south will be watching very, very closely, and will do as Kentucky does when the legislation is settled. No matter the outcome, I will be ready, willing, and able to give those legislators my testimony; and why I believe by showing courage of conviction they will help save lives. It is easy for us to assume ignorance of these folks when it comes to e-cigarette usage; but I propose another angle: I'm a pretty big guy, and I probably know more about losing weight than someone who doesn't have to worry about their figure.
Think about it.
