Mad Vapes e-Liquid Review #1

I recently won a Mad Vapes giveaway contest, the one for 250 ml of e-juice. I chose my flavors and strengths based on each brand's pg-vg ratio - some for the Kayfun, some for the dripper. In all, I got 14 different juices. I even chose a few flavors I wouldn't normally consider trying, just to expand my horizons, as it were. Whenever I get new gear or new juices, I try to blog about it. I do this for a couple of reasons but mainly because I have personally relied on reviewers to make nearly every choice I've made when it comes to vape stuff. Also, having so many different flavors and brands from one vendor is a golden opportunity. Obviously I can't try them all in one day, but I can start a continuing blog series and add new reviews as I go through them.

With that said, this review is for Mad Vapes' Lion Head brand flavor, Blueberry.

Lion Head is a 50/50 pg/vg premium juice (as far as I can tell - the ratio is not printed on the bottle, nor was it optional). MV currently charges $8.99 for 15 ml glass bottles, with a child-proof cap and dropper. I got the Blueberry in 11mg nic strength, and it was the first juice I chose to try because it was closest to me on the table after I got all the bottles out of the package. Also, my new Infinite CLT RDA hasn't arrived yet, so I needed a juice suitable for the Kayfun.

First impression opening the bottle was that I had put my nose into a basket of fresh blueberries. It was actually kind of startling (in a good way), as juice usually tastes and smells like the artificial candy version of whatever flavor it's named for, not the actual thing itself.
So I went about getting the juice into my Kayfun. Not an easy task with a glass dropper, but I managed. The trick is to go slow and don't tilt the Kayfun like you usually would when filling from the bottom. I only managed to spill a few drops, and they were easily sucked up by the dropper.
The taste of LH Blueberry is magnificent. Exactly like fresh blueberries. Sweet, smooth, refreshing, wtih an extremely pleasant aftertaste. A mild but respectable throat hit at 11mg, and decent vapor production. It's a great vape right out of the box with no steeping required. If you like blueberries, you gotta try this juice.
