10 years ago I began giving up cigarettes after having smoked for 15 years. My main weakness was always (and still is) alcohol. I get a bottle of wine down me and want nicotine. Over the past 10 years I have had an assortment of e-cigs (TECC, EGO, Janty), none of which have come close to satisfying my nicotine need when drinking (give up the drink I hear you say!! easier said than done). Nothing ever gave me the same satisfying lung hit plus vapour of a real cigarette. The taste I was never so much bothered about as I don't like how cigarettes taste, however, I also do not like the chemical taste of many e-liquids, and no e-cig/mod so far has given me a satisfying vape experience ( I have been limited by budget ). My last e-cig was a Janty Box mod, which I have to say was a huge disappointment and I did eventually go back to cigarettes after many frustrations with the box and atty. It wasn't really bad, it just wasn't like the real thing, and the taste was awful (sorry Janty).
Then, determined once again to give up cigarettes I once again embarked upon the challenge of seeking out a cigarette replacement e-cig/mod. After once again absorbing myself in the minefield of e-cig reviews and websites I eventually decided to buy an Innokin MVP mod. I was put off initially by the size of the thing, it looked HUGE, a veritable monster, and the clearomizers that come with it are not small either. However, I can honestly say that the MVP is the closest thing I have experienced to a real cigarette experience, the vape is amazing and controllable with the variable voltage, and the vape taste is great ( I am already feeling a bit anxious about losing it and secretly want to get another as a back-up). The iClear clearomizers are pretty good and produce a lot of vapour, but I have found that the taste is best when they are kept filled, when the liquid drops bellow half I notice a taste difference.
Battery wise I am getting 3-4 days vaping between charges, and I love the voltage control. The iClear clearomizers are only £5-6 and they are also rebuildable if you want to buy the parts separately which is good value. This is not a mod which will fit in your pocket easily!! or practical for taking out and about, but for home use I am hooked. I may in the future try different atty's/clearomizers but for now I am very happy, and once again am happy to be cigarette free, I think it will be more permanent this time.
