Well, no in depth vapor performance or history review, as there are quite a few awesome ones already posted in the forum.
My experience so far..... I purchased the Screwdriver because replacing the batteries are so much more cost effective, plus I figured if there is a ban on PV's I can get replacement batteries much easier than the 901 batteries. I was waiting in anticipation for its arrival.
Not a good start..... Im not sure if the batteries that came with my SD were bad ones or if there was a problem with the nano charger, and if the atomizers were a bad batch, but..... the batts were not holding their charge as they should have,
(yes, I let them charge overnight) and both attys fizzled out after a few days. So instead of complaining to Trog and sending anything back and waiting another 2 or 3 weeks for a replacement, I checked out the SD forum and figured on replacing some parts to solve the problem myself.
I purchased the Spiderfire battery replacements, and the double battery charger that was recommended in the SD forum, from Bestofferbuy.com this website offers free shipping, Deal extreme does not.... model numbers ordered were:
1 ea. SpiderFire LC-16340 3.6V 880mAh Rechargeable Lithium Batteries (4-Pack) $6.60
1 ea. Digital CR123A Battery AC Charger $5.80
In addition I ordered 10 extra stainless RN 4075 atomizers and replacement cartriges from RunyanDirect.com The 4075 attys are the ones recommended as the wire filament inside is shorter- the wick inside the cart dosn't stick to the atty because it dosn't come up as high as the 901, and it burns hotter as well.
Now I must say.... I am a happy camper! Batteries charge up fine and hold their charge they last all day for me, ... the attys are working great I'm still on my first one, and Ive got loads of carts... I'm all set !
Overall... my views...hmmmm
I love my SD and now works wonderfully, I love the design, and recommend it for someone who wants a slick looking PV, wants to save on battery cost and for a heavy vaper, but to be honest for the 160.00 price I feel that it should have arrived with no problems whatsoever.
There are now new mods out there, that are less expensive, that also use cheaper batteries. And I think Trog now has competition to deal with. Now when I replace my hubby's 901,..... I'm thinking of Zimoshi, he's in the US and its half the price......
Love my SD, but ....sorry to say,.....Not a loyal customer.........
