Everything arrived Monday!
I bought from two sites. Vapwow and Altsmoke. I split the payment up - the boyfriend bought my gear from Vapwow, I spent the money at altsmoke. As much as he offered to pay for everything, it was important to me that I shell out some change to the start up as well. (I liken it to the difference between some of my friends from college and myself. The friends who's parents were paying the bill, by and large were much more free and loose with "lets skip class today" than I was. When I skipped class the nagging question I had to ask myself was "Am I going several thousands of dollars in debt just to not attend class?" I'm not saying I didn't have skip days, I'm just saying....I had less of them.
)
From vapwow, I got the joye ego-c twist bundle. It came with 2 batteries, 1 USB rapid charger, 1 AC to USB wall adapter, 2 cone covers, and a 5 cartridge pace of 24 mg cafe flavored cartridges. I didn't use any specials or coupons as I really wasn't sure how to go about doing it. But all in all, for the 75.99 price, I'm very happy thus far with my set up. I also want to send a special shout out there to Megan as I REALLY thought her hand written thank-you at the bottom of my invoice was something very special. By and large this is a wonderful community. The fact that the person filling my order took the 20 seconds it takes to pick up a pen and say "Bea, thank you for your order" meant THE WORLD to me. Oh and they also included two stickers with my order - they would SOOOO go on my car if my job wasn't very particular about how my car looks. (I kinda miss being able to decorate my car *sigh*) *luff*
From altsmoke - I got two clearomizers, another twist battery, a sample size bottle of the peach juice in 18 mg, a sample size bottle of the amaretti juice in 18mg, a bottle of blueberry in 18 mg, and a bottle of MLB tobacco in 18 mg. I have yet to try the MLB and the peach, but I LOVE the amaretti and the blueberry is *very* good. The price there - at roughly 60 dollars, I found very reasonable as well. Again, I didn't look around for coupons as I wasn't quite sure how to do it.
I do want to mention should someone new to the forums stumble upon my "my trials and tribulations blog" that BOTH sites offered spaces where coupon codes could be entered. I'm sure I could have more economically shopped, but the fact of the matter is that they boyfriend caught wind of what I was doing before I was ready for him to - then he was just so gun-ho about me quitting the ciggs he was kinda on me all the time about hurrying up and getting them.
I placed my order late Thursday night, pacific coast time. And received my goods from both places Monday when the mail came (even if I didn't check the mail till late at night - it was there waiting on me.) I honestly figured as late as I placed the orders, they would be filled friday - then the weekend and I should *start* looking for them tues. So - no problems again from either place with shipping.
And now, how it goes for me and the ciggs. I LOVE my vapes. I adore them really, but I still find there are times I just NEED a regular cig. I'm finding the first thing in the morning, after meals and when I'm SUPER stressed out (read: rush times in the restaurant) Day 1 I had 6 ciggs. Today I had 7. (I got some - while good to get it and know that peeps have my back - sorta crappy news about my boss so ya know - the fact that I only had one more is kinda impressive? - side note - it's been my experience that the exact people who use the phrase "I hate drama" extensively are usually the EXACT people who tend to cause ALL the drama.)
I am drinking now and vaping some blueberry (it's the least used battery atm) while I charge up the other batteries. I had one cigg after work after the thought bomb was lain at my feet and I'm still cool with vaping while I'm drinking. This is AWESOME!
I've noticed that while they still keep vaping, yes, after two days of swapping around all three (with a STRONG leaning toward the amaretti and the coffee filled ones) it might be due time to start recharging batteries because they are not hitting like they were the day before.
Eventually I'll find my routine. And I'll order another charger. (This is the only one thing I regret from my first order was not getting a second charger.)
Thank you gentle reader for reading my ramblings. I do look at my blog like a diary that others can read. It's mostly for me, but if you read and you find things of interest, thank you for taking an interest.
