I have known Imeo on a personal basis for almost 2 years, just a few months after I started vaping. I was drawn to him because some people at another site were saying bad things about him.
I am the kind of guy that does not take people's word for things. If you tell me that a man is no good, or that his products are bad, I will buy his product and make attempt to contact him to find out how he is.
In this case, the people who said bad things of him were as wrong as is humanly possible. It actually makes me feel good that I am writing this as: when you write things, it helps you learn and remember that which your are writing.
I started out buying from him directly a GGT. This was when he was in between Ikenvape and Vaporking. He mailed it to me and I said to myself: "he said this was 5 pieces and I see only 3. I don't think it can fit 2 CR123A's. I wrote to him and he told me to mail it back. This was right before he was creating the GGTS, so to even deal with me, 1 crazy man who does not know electronics... I was impressed right from the get-go.
I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. I mailed to him in Athens, Greece. When he got it he wrote to me, this is GGTS. You have 5 pieces here. I wrote to him how sorry I was and that I think I just wanted him to look at it so that it would have a personal meaning for me. I also am very slow at understanding electronics and as he advertises: "This is an advanced user Device." I did not care, I had to have something from this man.
He mailed it back.. I did not use it for the longest time as I was not sure... but I did start to use the "Grant" format which is smaller, taking 1 ring off and using 2 CR2 bats. They worked great, but the power did not last long as those bats are strong and die fast.
I then bought a GG Slim 7.4 volt thin device from him when he went to Vaporking. Rob was very nice there. I also bought 2 -AFS #2 which had the 901 attachment for any device, but did not have a "Catch" tank... (they leaked a lot!). But the flavor was something I had never had. Some people say it's because of "Bathing" the atty in juice, but I think it is because this man is a Genius in how to make devices that work in ways that are simple, but complex to understand. They talk about a "Learning Curve" in use of his products. I agree, and I also know that my patience level is not very good.
The GG Slim only worked for a couple of weeks and then... nothing... It sat there for 1 1/2 years until a few weeks ago when I mailed it back to him with a small fixing fee. A few weeks later it came back with new 510 threading and new button, same as on the SS GGTS. He told me that he did that only for me. I use that every day since I got it back and I just love it.. but I love more the personal attention that this man has given to me.
For years I only owned the GGT. When the new GGTS came out, I was either out of money, or... sold out as usual. His next move was to Bruce at Clouds of Vapor, where he is now. I knew of "Big Buyer" just from reading here and other sites, but how nice that he is a great guy to do what he did for me.
I saw Imeo created the new UFS. It had the "Catch" tank and I thought it would work with 510 on any device. I bought it immediately and it sold out right after. A couple of weeks later I got it and saw the bottom, the pin that goes to the bat that makes it work with any atty. I realized I needed a GGTS to make it work. Now, I had to get a GGTS because I could not deal with the leaking of the 2 AFS's and I wanted the taste that could only be had by this device.
I wrote to Imeo to find out when the SS GGTS would be comming. I saw a date in May that Bruce had posted that it would arrive. Knowing this would sell out fast, I did something I never have done for anyone or anything before: I took the day off from work so that I could "Hang Loose" for when it would be there and then... buy it.
That day came and went and at the end of the day, a new date was placed for 2 weeks later. I wrote to Imeo asking when I could expect Bruce would have it... he told me his best guess.. so.. Bruce puts a 2nd date, I think at the end of May... again... I take a 2nd day of work off. I waited all day. At 9pm, I figured it would again be another day, so I went out to get something to eat.
When I came back, my Outlook Express had the note: The GGTS is in. Hurry because it won't last long. This was a note sent to anyone who wanted the "Heads Up" and was done by computer by putting your e-mail address in. Now, finally after almost 2 years and a few months of having a UFS sitting on my computer.. I would have a GGTS and... be able to use a UFS that has a "Catch" tank so no juice leaks.
I hit the hyperlink that took me to the page on the site and it said "Sold Out."
Now, for the 1st time in vaping... I was upset. I immediately wrote to Bruce through his site. I wrote something like:
I bought a UFS thinking it would work on the GGT I have. I do not own a GGTS, so I have been waiting and writing to Imeo to make sure I get one. I go within 1 hour of the notification and "Sold Out." I need you to either: 1. Get me a GGTS, Old, New, SS, I don't care, just that I need one to use the UFS I bought from you a few months ago ... or 2. If you cannot get me one, I just cannot go through this anymore so I would like to return my UFS.
After a short time, Bruce wrote to me personally. Again, I am very impressed by Vendors who take the time to address the hard issues themselves rather than pass it off to someone who works for them that may not take the same type of action.

I clarified again that I did not care what type, but wanted the GGTS and no way wanted to give back the UFS. One must also note again that I left it sitting in front of my monitor on my computer table, so I was looking at it daily, playing with it, getting ready. It was like a toy that I could not use until Christmas... and I am a Jew!! Go Fig Yuh!

That one displays the play with the unused UFS for 3 months with anticipation of the AFS juice taste I missed. was how this whole thing would go down.
I wrote to Imeo and I think he got how upset I was as he wrote back: "I talked to Bruce. He will have one for you, even if I have to send him another."
Bruce wrote back the next night that he had one for me and that I could pay through Paypal. When I told him the story of missing work for 2 days, his general thought is that you should not have to "stay out of work for mods." Smart man, Bruce. Also, I have a good friend in a neighboring town to where he is in North Jersey. My friend is the #1 Real Estate Appraiser in the State of NJ... so.. there must be some "Good Energy" going on in "Short Hills" where Bruce has his shop.
To sumarize: Imeo was happy for me to get this. I got #41 SS GGTS, but you must know that as I said, I would have taken any model. What was important was that I had the technology to work the UFS.. which as I thought is as it was, the best taste possible for juice and unlike the ones I owned with no "Catch" tank, no leaks... Yeah!
I think of Imeo as a friend. He always responds to me over the years. There are other Great Vendors, I am not saying he is the only 1... I will have more stories of Great Vendors as I go on.. What I am saying though, is of all the Vendors I know on a personal basis, he is... The Best of The Best!
