I just built an XL spreadsheet to help with decreasing and increasing nicotine levels in a juice. When thinning, I include a goal PG/VG ratio since I have a bottle of each. For bumping the levels I calculate the final PG/VG but since I have only 1 source of nicotine I don't have much control over setting the PG/VG ratio for the final product.
My friend and I sometimes will split the purchase of a large bottle of juice and he uses lower nicotine. Now we can order Extra Flavor, split the difference in mg/ml and slightly thin (with or without extra nicotine) both of our bottles to end at our desired mg/ml nicotine.
Next I will add in a Mixing tab for starting a juice from scratch. I know these models exist, but I wanted to work out the formulas, because math is fun, you know.
Now that i look back at my original "story problem" I need to make an adjustment for adding to my existing liquid instead of making a "target bottle size". Done - now I have both, whether increasing or decreasing the nicotine level.
