A couple of nights ago I mixed a 30 ml bottle of my very favorite juice. I gave it 24 hours to sit, something I did not allow the original 10 ml to do before trying it. The original was sweet and good and awesome from first vape and right on through over a week later. I was so excited. I could hardly wait. Last night, I was thrilled when I vaped my carto dry, because it was time to give the juice a whirl. Filled up the carto, grinning, anticipating, took a 5 second pull.... oh YUCK.
I read somewhere on the boards that for some reason not easily explained the tripling of a 10 ml recipe may not work. That the flavor may be off. I am a firm believer in this now. There was a strong, bitter taste on my tongue that just would not go away. I decided to go ahead and try to vape it out of my carto. This morning, sore throat from too much TH from the juice and it was not easy to vape it again. I don't want to consign the carto to the garbage quite yet. I'll fill it with another juice that will remove the yucky taste.
Because I liked the original 10 ml and I have a feeling there is more to this than meets the eye, I am giving the weird juice a grace period of one week from born date to mature. If by then it has not improved at all, I might just pass it on to my sister and let her deal with the delimma of what-to-do with it.
Should the juice not improve, there is one more avenue. Contacting the place I got the flavor from to find out if they tweaked it or something. It very well may be stronger. Who knows?
