For those with an interest, here is what I used discounting bits and pieces that I have forgotten about no doubt.
1 x Giant case already wired for parallel 18650's
1 x USB 5V Lithium Li-ion Battery 1 Cell Charger board
1 x SPDT Submini Slide Switch Rated 3mps at 125VAC.
1 x 3mm standard diffusion red led
1 x 100 Ohm resistor
1 x 3mm led bezel mount
1 x V4 Microswitch Push Button Switch Miniature 3A 125V
1 x steel microbutton retrieved from cheap novelty laser pointer (threw the tactile switch away as it wouldn't have handled the load)
1 x 510 battery connection (had to buy new since I had no old batteries to dismantle)
Some wire -I believe it is zero OFC speaker wire I used for most of it.
Some black milliput epoxy putty - great for sealing and the like.
Tools
A model multitool (dremel type thing)
Drill
Correct size drill bits (sorry no specifics I choose the bit when I'm using it and never bother seeing what size it was).
Various shaped grinding stones (rounded and cones mostly)
A very sharp knife
Soldering iron - used Lead free solder and Flux
Hot melt glue gun
