quick review and discussion - AGA-T2 Reduced Chamber Caps by captivape

Me and plenty of other people figured out that there's a few high-end genesis attys around that taste better for some reason. Even though I never tried them that reason seemed to be the smaller chamber in the top caps where the vapor is produced. Me and plenty of other people also wondered how to do that on our cheap AGA-Ts or RSSTs.

I found out only a handful of people do these cap pieces on demand but captivape seemed to have produced a bunch of them for the AGA-T2. I stumbled on them by sheer luck and ordered one straight away. I'll try keep the review short. I did a little side-by-side comparison after vaping on the reduced chamber cap for a few days. When trying the old cap again it was like I hardly even tasted anything anymore. At first it might seem like a good flavor increase, but not extreme. You realize what it did once you go back.
I did make the airhole on my original cap a bit larger with a corkscrew. That draw is a little more 'wide-open' than the double-holed cap by captivape. I don't have issues with the draw on the captivape caps but I'm pretty sure some of you just might prefer a really airy draw. It's still tons better than the unmodded AGA-T of course. Besides that nothing but praise for this great looking and tasting piece of work, a big improvement and worth my hard-earned cash. Of course there were no burs or dings to be found and it does fit perfectly fine on an AGA-T2 without slipping off all the time.

Here's a picture from the captivape website, polished finish on the left.

Pictured below it's sitting on my vamo 2 with the machined finish. (a friend noted the vamo now grew as tall as my head and might catch up to me by the time I'm 50)
