Review: Johnson Creek Valencia, 100% VG, 18% nic

I tried this one because I was looking for a summery, complex non-tobacco vape, and the description sounded intriguing. Because it's 100% VG I've been using it mostly in halo LR cartomizers. Though, recently, I've been vaping it on the CE5 clearomizer, which I picked up from my new local Vape Shope (shout out to Three Days Vapor Lounge in Greece!), and I find the clearo a much more satisfying experience.

Presentation, good, per JC's usual-- an amber glass bottle, dropper top, though not childproof.

The taste is completely unique. THey say it's citrus, with virtually no tobacco. Per JC's usual, it's a dry more than sweet vape, though it's sweeter than their usual. It almost reminds me of a good blood orange gelato. The citrus is there, but the orange is more orange flower than orange fruit. Definitely more floral and aromatic than fruity. The cinnamon and clove add a subtle edge, and there's a vanilla-like cream undertone that binds it all together into something very smooth and pleasant. It's decadant like a desert, without being sweet or cloying. It reminds me of some of my favorite invigorating aromatherapy blends, the kind with sweet orange, ylang ylang and clove. Very enjoyable, but more an experience in itself-- I don't use it as an ADV because I want the chance to appreciate it.

Presentation: 9/10, looses points for no childproof top
Vapor: 10/10, especially when used in a clearomizer
Flavor: 10/10, great but not my absolute fave
Throat Hit: 7/10, surprisingly unimpressive given the amount of spice
Overall: 9/10

Absolutely delightful, a treat, and I think everyone should try it, though I don't think it's something I'll go to every day.
