I was excited to receive my Minnesota Menthol sampler in the mail because I’ve been on a hunt trying to find the most incredibly cold menthol possible! I promised myself to review juices honestly and unfortunately this juice isn’t doing it for me. I love everything I’ve tried with VR so far so I’m bummed to strike this one off my list re-orders.
The description says, “touch of mint and true menthol”, and I definitely can pick up on the subtle mint that’s blended into this juice. It’s a quality mint and if I were looking for a mint juice this would be it, though I’d like the flavor a little stronger. There just isn’t much flavor to this juice, but I think that was the intent since it’s categorized as menthol. The mint lingers some after vaping and leaves a fresh feeling in my mouth.
When it comes to menthol coolness, I’m finding a lot to be desired as well. I’m a menthol lover and want my menthol incredibly cold! I want my throat to chill and my nasal passages to feel cold when I breathe afterwards. Unfortunately this one is lacking in the cold department. I’m not getting any freeze in my throat but I feel like my lungs are getting cold because they seem to tighten up on inhale. This may be due to the menthol that is in the blend and the 20mg nicotine level.
Minnesota Menthol is yet another amazing juice when it comes to vapor production. VR has mastered vapor with all of their juices and definitely deserves an A grade for it!
Throat Hit is a little different with this juice. It doesn’t really catch in the throat as much as it does in the chest. It’s like a deep TH and it’s hard to explain. It’s not a bad thing though and it provides a unique vaping experience overall.
All day vapability for me is a menthol or a tobacco that I really feel like I could use all day if I have nothing else to rotate. Since this juice is lacking in the freezing menthol department, I can’t put it on my list of all day vapability.
In conclusion, this is a mild minty menthol juice that doesn’t meet my expectations of super-cold freezing menthol vape. It’s not a bad juice though because VR doesn’t produce such things. It just means it’s not a juice *I* personally care for based on my needs. If you’re looking for mild menthol with minty undertones then look no farther. This juice is perfect for those who want a change from tobacco to menthol without worrying about it being overpowering.
VR offered to toss in some extra menthol so I could amp it up some, so I may give that a try in the future.
