As I start typing this, I find it very comical that my idea of a fun-filled Saturday night consists of overing pizza, listening to music and madly vaping, sniffing flavourings and mixing juices - compared to my younger days of going to a friend's, getting stoned, going to club, smoking until I'm hoarse, going home and spending the rest of the weekend recuperating. 
I received my order from Happy Vapor consisting of 5 carts for my 510, 5 empty dram dropper bottles, 30 ml of PG and VG, along with 5 flavours by Perfumers Apprentice: Wintergreen, Hot Cinnamon, Mint Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate and Gingerbread. I had already received some liquid nic from evapers.com earlier this week, so I've been sitting around, anxiously waiting for my package. :]
I'm pretty new to vaping in general but decided to take a stab at DIY mixing, as I've always been a crafty sort of person, given the right tools.
The first thing I did was determine how many drops from the flavouring bottles equaled 1ml - 47 (for future reference). Using the e-juice calculate from eJuice Me Up - e-Juice e-Liquid Recipe Calculator, I decided to try the Wintergreen flavouring first as any type of mint is a yummy bet for me.
My first mistake was doing calculations for a final output volume of 3.5 ml while a dram only holds 3.75 ml. I found that sticking the dropper back in the bottle nearly made it overflow with this much liquid so I had to put some in a separate bottle. ^^
Secondly, the flavour was very weak so I had to add a lot more, which severely screwed up my calculations as I already had to pour some into a different container.
Final verdict: meh. I don't like this mint at all. It smells ok, but the flavour is just...meh. lol that's really the only word I can think for it. It's a dark sort of harsh minty - earthy maybe. Not really what I was wanting, but I think I should have been able to tell that from the name of the flavour. Next time will go for a Spearmint or candy cane.
Disappointed with my Wintergreen, I decided to try another one.
This time I went with the double chocolate with a strong nic for more TH.
This mixing experience went a lot smoother since my calculations were for 3ml only. The flavour is ok, not like hardcore chocolate, but it's chocolate-y enough to enjoy. Maybe if I added a bit of sucralose, along with something creamy, it would be better (still waiting for sucralose with my order from Tasty vapor which includes the famous Atomic Cinnacide, Cafe Mocha with double chocolate and a custom one - peppermint, and dark chocolate). But the smell is AMAZING and lingers in the air for 30 seconds or so after exhaling. Wow it smells like some amazing chocolate candle or body oil. Awesome. :]!
I so want to start ordering more stuff, but I have 2 orders I'm still waiting for and need to save money for presents for other people.
Wish my vaping addiction could have started in the middle of the summer when I could spend more money on myself.
