I like the idea of using a straw in my cart. It makes a lot of sense.
However, I DON'T like the idea of using poly-fill in my cart. It tends to get caught on the atty arch, it tastes weird, it's a pain stuffing it in the cart. Oh yeah, and the idea of that stuff MELTING and vaping....
8-o ..... one of the reasons I quit smoking was to avoid intentionally inhaling carcinogens.
I'd been teabagging my carts, ever since I learned about that mod. I like it. It's everything polyfill/Fluval is not. When I hit the sweet spot of exactly the right roll, it works as smoothly as I could want.
Polyfill has been, to the best of my knowledge, the only material used with the straw mod. Maybe I missed the post talking about using teabags+straw.
Anyway, I tried the Fluval+straw mod. Yes, the draw is smoother, and yes I can put more juice in my cart. Woo-hoo. It still tastes wrong.
Then I tried a straw+teabag mod.
WOO-HOO!!!
Everything I love about teabagging, with extra added niftyness.
So, this is how I will be setting up my blank carts from now on. Especially since I managed to find a package of 500 plastic-straw Qtips, and some really good-quality teabag blanks.
