Well, 16 days ago I knocked the stinkies on the head. It was something I had been thinking about for quite some time. But, I was walking through Swansea City centre one thursday afternoon I stumbled past a small shop that was selling cheap ego style blister packs and Dekang liquids. I went in and bought one plus 2 juices.
Got home and filled up and vaped away and started to really enjoy it - very very much. Friday and saturday I carried on and joined this forum and my cravings for analogues just vanished. No thoughts or cravings as long as I had my vape until sunday.....
Got up sunday and half way through the morning, the CE4 started to gurgle and finally it quit. The battery post was adjusted and it started up ok once more then it just died. Damn!! As this was a very cheap device and the only replaceable part was the battery I decided to order online from Myepack a Kanger mini pro tank. Meanwhile I had to go cold turkey for two whole days!
Tuesday morning my tank came along with some liquids from Triphammer and Vape Escape (Caramel Cappuccino and Fizzy Trifle). Set it up, filled it with Trifle and boy what a difference!
On advice from Dave on this forum I immediately ordered a spinner battery and while I was at it I ordered another min tank so I could always have something at hand.
More liquids were ordered - Seville Orange Marmalade from Mrs Lords (My absolute favourite) and some Arctic Ice from Vape Escape.
I've now got 3 tanks and 3 batteries and plenty of juice to keep me going and still I have not spent as much as I normally would on analogues. The initial outlay may have been close but in the long run it is going to save me a lot of money (I vape around 3ml a day - maybe more on a weekend day).
So it's just been over 2 weeks and all cravings I had for analogues have gone, I feel more positive and more in pocket - what's not to like! It's great that I no longer have to go outside in the cold and the rain, my clothes smell cotton fresh, my taste buds have suddenly woken up and I have had no side effects or spots or dry coughs either.
It's more than a life changing event - it's a new hobby and already have made lots of like minded friends and the advice off the forums have been very helpful.
Can't see me going down the mod route just yet but I would like an iTaste or a Vamo in the future (wanna try dripping).
I'll post again in 2 weeks and tell you how I feel after a full month off the analogues (the longest I have stayed off them in my life as I have smoked since I was 21 and I am now 44).
