I know I'm preaching to the choir here (so to speak) but I'm literally amazed at the sense of smell and taste that I have already recovered. Even after finishing my last pack, which I had 6 left on Monday when I purchased my PV, I could definitely tell the recovered smell and taste. Parking in the garage at work and walking past the smoking section, the odor was almost unbearable. Then smoking the last of the pack, two per day, tasted horrid.
I was leaving my pack at work and heading home the past couple of nights, only to find that I really did not miss it at all. Before, sure, I would have stopped on the way home and bought a fresh pack. But last night this was not even a thought. I feel freed from the analog sticks, even though I know the coming days and weeks might bring challenges. I'm looking forward to facing them and being able to breathe, smell, and taste again.
