VapeCon was all it was supposed to be

After vaping for 2.5 years, I finally got to go to a vapefest. In Richmond, VA, the VapeCon was held last friday and Saturday. I took of early on Saturday morning and got there about 1pm.

It was crowded as I had hoped it would be. My guess is that had we put something like this on when I 1st got started, it would have been me and about 20 others from the entire USA all looking at each other and blowing vapor all around to make it seem larger than it actually was.

I guess there may have been about 250 people on Saturday afternoon which made it great. I spent a lot of money as I wanted to get some Mods and also just a little juice as I have a stockpile and make my own juice as well.

I also have a lot of Mods and brought my "Historical" collection.

I have 2 of the original very expensive SD's, Version 1, the "Mini" which was 901 and "Larger" (not the actual name as I forget maybe "Maxi?"). I have a "Juice Box," "Detonator," 2 of the Billyboy "Dual Atty" regular models (both broken and he is not fixing anymore or making for that matter and I am looking for someone to pay to restore them) and also a Billyboy "Dual Atty USB" which does work fine, "Mr. Puffer," the original Rob O'Neil "ReoGrand" before he put his name on the door and to which he very kindly carved the hole for my finger instead of the original screw that you pushed to get the juice, Cisco "Lazer," and some Gary Dibley "Box Mods and flashlight (torch) mod."

That was just a few, I don't want to go over it all once again as I did by bringing out 3 brief cases worth late on Saturday night. We were not done until about 4am after realizing several of us had not eaten, going to "Taco Bell" which was an ordeal getting the order correctly served.

I heard very little of the Southern "Accent" as we must have been too far North and I love that accent like: "Y'all come back now, here?"

I am going to do my best to go to all East Coast events on vaping as my true love and favorite hobby for the past 2.5 years is now gaining recognition.

All too soon in the USA, the FDA will begin reducing the nicotine, flavors and then charge tax and it will be a new ballgame. I am not sure how they will ban DIY juice by buying say 100mg nicotine juice and then mixing your own flavors with PG/VG.

Yes, vaping is gaining recognition in the USA. Nick "GrimmGreen" and "Basilray" greeted me at the door and it was all very fun. I met Bruce from COV as he has the Imeo franchize and I had to make sure he was looking good enough to last for the next few years until Imeo slows down: I must have every Imeo item possible and more than 1 for that matter!

I think on Saturday in the UK there was a VapeFest and hope to hear all about it on Vapourtrails.TV. I also hope to now watch the VapeCon videos with the new feeling of what it is like to be there.

The last thing I want to say is the popularity of people who make videos and how powerful it is to see them live. I don't have that craziness say if a movie star is in the room, but I felt very good to see the people like Nick Green who everytime will fly to be at the different fests. They gave out a lot of door prizes and had a costume contest which was wild. I think I can say that fun was had by all. I heard that Friday night went just as long and was just as fun. Vapers are fun people, that is that!
