I am going on my 3rd year of vaping on July 23, 2012, kicking a 30 year cigarette habbit. But, I really did not quit smoking.. I took up vaping and I suddenly could not stand the taste or smell of burnt tobacco. Raw tobacco smells great to me and that is why the last 5 years of smoking I rolled my own.
ECF has been a part of my 3 years and I would like to thank the Staff here that I know does their work for the love of vaping and the love of helping to have others share the "Joy of the Vape."
I hope to be around to share in what is becomming a "World Wide Hobby." I am not a "Vaper." I am a "Vaping Enthusiast." For me, this is much more expensive than smoking ever was. I want the latest of everything good. I want to share what I have with the World as well.
So, I put out to the "Vaping Universe" here at ECF that I am always available to help new people come to the "Fold." This vape is not going away soon. It is getting stronger each day and every year. I know this by the amount of Modding I see and also, the diversity in items to buy.
1 thing that has come out of the 3 years is the "510" thread. When I first started in 2009, this did not exist, at least I did not know of it. Now, "Ego" or whatever you have is using the "510" thread. There still are Companies not using it, but I would say that Worldwide, it is the most used thread. Is it the best? That is up to you. When I started there was only the 901 and 801. Just to show how away from that I am and I happen to be dislexic, I am not sure if it was 910 and 810 instead of the other way around. Well, the "9" one was called the "Mini" and the "8" one was called the "Pen Style." I used to have that pen style in my mouth all day long. I looked a lot like a famous US President, FDR, who always was smoking cigarettes, but used a cigarette holder, making it look alot like a "Pen Style" e-cig!
Again, I welcome new people in the World to share the joy. Of course, the bonus is great health, but that is not a motivation. If it were, cigarettes would not exist. I am convinced that if each new vaper is brought into it by an experienced person, the sucess rate may be as high as 80% of people giving up cigarettes for their lives.
Back to my 1st day of NJoy and getting e-liquid in my mouth thinking 1st... "I could die from this" and then "Hey, that tasted great and I don't want to smoke right now." From there to here at ECF.... it works!
