Now my proposal is this, we all pitch in and split the costs for purchasing the ingredients at gallon scale which will include 1 gallon of diluent (I would say an 80% VG/20% PG mix), enough 100% nicotine liquid to make this 18mg strength and we can decide how many flavors to shoot for after we figure out how many people want to go in on this project together. If we have a lot of people, then we have to have a limited number of flavors, or we will end up having to break it up into a boat load of little bottles to ship to a ton of people. I am thinking we could shoot for fewer flavors and just ship them in big bottles that we can split up on our own. Less shipping, less bottle expense.

So to start with, please respond here if you are SERIOUSLY interested in doing something like this. If enough people are interested, then I will go and research the bulk numbers AGAIN. Once I have some totals, I can figure out how many people we want to participate and we can decide how many flavors we want to make and how much of each.

For that matter, maybe all of us DIY'ers could just go in on a massive bulk unflavored e-juice for mixing at home. I know a good source for 100% pure nicotine, no diluents of any kind. Just nicotine which is, what, 1000mg per ml or 100mg per ml or something like that. Anyways, it is a large bottle of pure nicotine, and then I can buy a massive amount of PG, VG or a mix and then batch out the liquid for each of us and we would have a ton of unflavored e-juice to work with making our flavors for a long time to come.

I don't have any small children around and don't have to worry about having the pure nicotine in the house. I also love doing this sort of thing so I don't mind doing all the work, but I expect my cut of the expenses to be balanced out with the shipping costs of everything. ie. If everyone paid (just as an example) $100 for ingredients and bottles, and it costs me $50 to ship everything, then I would only have to pitch in $50 for the ingredients. In other words, I wouldn't want to have to pay for all the shipping costs myself either from the suppliers or to the co-op participants.

Okay let me know if you want in on this and tell me what you would want to be in on.. Here are the options as I see them

(1) We make a flavored juice looking at a gallon of VG/PG and however much nic and flavor we would need for a gallon VG/PG with final nic strength of 18mg

(2) We make an unflavored juice looking at a gallon of VG/PG and however much nic we would need for a gallon VG/PG with final nic strength of 18mg

(3) We make multiple flavors of juice looking at 4 oz bottles of each flavor for each participant (# of flavors to be determined later when we know more about costs) at 18mg strength.

(4) We make multiple flavors of juice looking at 4 oz bottles of each flavor for each participant (# of flavors to be determined later when we know more about costs) at 0mg strength and then we can add our own nicotine if we all want different strengths than 18mg.

(5) We make 1qt of 6mg unflavored, 1qt of 12mg unflavored, 1qt of 18mg unflavored and 1qt of 24mg unflavored for each person in the co-op. that is 1 gallon of fluid overall for each person.

I am not sure how much shipping would be for a gallon of fluid either. If shipping would be ridiculous, than we could aim for something like...

buying enough pure nicotine, VG/PG and flavors by the 1oz or 4oz and making 30ml bottles of a bunch of flavors, and then every person in the co-op gets 1 30oz bottle of every flavor we make.

Okay, so let's hear it! Who would be interested in this? Only serious responses please. If you are at all unsure, please don't respond. I need to figure out average costs per person so I need to know how many people will REALLY want to get in on this. So leave a reply here with what you think we should shoot for as a target package. If you are 100% serious about being involved in this or any bulk juice co-op we come up with, then PM me your interests (nic strength, how many flavors, how much juice you would maybe want, any other thoughts on the subject).

Those of you who PM me I want to be only the utmost serious inquiries. No potential flake out laters. If you PM me then I will keep you on a list of Juice DIY Co-op Members and then no matter what happens with this thread or idea, we will be involved in a co-op of whatever size we are able to put together.

Again, I don't mind doing all the work, but I do expect the costs to be balance in the end one or another. I have no desires to pay for a lot of shipping costs.

(PS. I am thinking about doing this same exact thing, except with making mods. 5V, 510, w/batts and charger, already locating bulk sources for this stuff, and working with Texas Instruments on developing the perfect circuit for longest battery life and longest run time at the sweet spot, we can discuss other potential features as well. Look for this thread coming soon to the mod section.)
