I’m kind of a FUNCTION guy. If you’ve ever heard the phrase “form over function” – saying that to me is kind of like speaking at me in Klingon…I just don’t understand what that is supposed to mean, or if I do understand, I just don’t understand why someone would choose to mean that.
I loved the look of notcig’s original Buzz, that purely workhorse, no BS look. And even better, it performed like it looked – all business and serious function. The OG Buzz has been my steady primary vape for more than a year now, the only mod I’ve ever been 100% satisfied with. Then I heard the Buzz Pro was coming and I was all set to order one up in clear, or maybe black. The Pro colors are very pretty and all, I mean, how hot is that purple? But I wanted my Pro to come dressed for hard work.
But every once in awhile something comes along that is so undeniably sexy that it has its own gravity. I’m not a guy that could ever give up function in favor of form. But when you don’t have to choose, and both are tuned to perfection…wow. I might just be motivated to a long winded blog post singing the praises of something like that.
Enter the Buzz Pro *mistinthewoods* Special Edition from notcigs; the perfect marriage of perfect form & perfect function. That’s a lot of perfect.
Did I say perfect? I can’t say enough about this thing. I mean, the Buzz has been improved. It has an easily accessible voltage adjustment for the perfect hit, but the wheel is not in the way at all and it doesn’t get accident-a-djusted in your pocket, and it has these handy reference markings on it for quick and easy adjustment. The battery life and efficiency are drastically improved. No voltage drop – it stays consistent from fresh battery to dead battery. And it’s still the same old workhorse. AND in this sexy dress it’s wearing…I like to look at it as much as I like to vape it.
Buzz Pro + Mist Veneer + Ikenvape 801 Fusion + some Halo or Backwoods Brew! An hour with this in his hands and Don freakin’ Draper would forget what a cigarette was for. Seriously…what appeal could an analog have over this combination?
