SXmini Q Class Powered by YiHi SX450 Chip Part 2

Same problem here with M, even the se cap did not resolve, it worked for about week. I took some plumbers tape and wrapped around the stock battery cap. I put enough tape to hold cap in place, not trying to align threads. Worked better than any other method. I really like the Q, but nice to have...

    Freaking WOW.

I didn't think it would either, til I metered a coil that was going to end up on a mech. Read .9Ohms. Fired up to 3.2V, 3.55Amp, ~11Watts, I didn't go further. Wasn't "as good" a vape as it would be on a mech. But it will fire. 30ga is my personal favorite to work with, has flexibility of 32ga...

    Freaking WOW.

Provari v2 will fire a .9ohm coil but its gotta be real stable. 30gaK works well with proV, 5/4 wrap should get u in ballpark of ~1.3-1.6Ohms. Ribbon wire is whole different story, but once work out hotspots, it's very satisfying vape

    Freaking WOW.

HD doesn't have it, confirmed from experience. They might have one role of unox-SS rope but way too big. They have 7x7 "shinny" non-galvanized "SS ROPE", my guess is its SS-plated(or something else). Not sure the size of your city, but IF going find locally, try marina/boating specialty stores.

    Cyclone RDA Top Feed

I put a 2 ohm micro coil in the cyclone last night and was kicking myself for not staying with it in the first place. I didn't use cotton, but the xc-116(1/32) with very small tail. For those that use and enjoy cotton, the biggest fans of that wick seem to be bottom feeding mods, do any of y'all...

    Cyclone RDA Top Feed

It comes with decent silica and wire, I don't know the size, but it's worth using.

    Cyclone RDA Top Feed

Best flavor/vapor of all drippers. Better than some gennies too. Easy to work in small space. Using 5/6 32gaK wrapped close with nextel xc-1/16(small size). I found F/V improved if the coil was "slanted" to positive post, creates better airflow....this could be in my head.

    Malty Toffee in a genesis

Well, last post and I'll consider the matter closed... more wraps=better flavor(but sacrifices response time). So I made a 5/6 wrap...with 32ga NiCh wire, comes in at 1.6 ohm's. so with that many wraps & that quick a response time, there's no caramalized junk on wick...and the flavor is closest...

    RSST leaking...

Yes I thought read elsewhere you had a few, but your collection was more than I thought. I was looking at the Natural, and know it takes some "tweaking" for optimal performance. A local friend made the Chi-brid, guess that's good name for it. He's selling it, and the remainder of the mod to use...

    RSST leaking...

As always Rule, you've got the answers. The leaking was one of main, if not only gripes for RSST. I know I have rolls of plumbers tape around here just gotta find it. I also use mine on a mech mod. I'm in the market for a 2nd mech, I know what's out there, and I'm not wanting to stalk sites. I...

    Malty Toffee in a genesis

I tried a 6/7 wrap 32ga K, came in at ~2.7Ohms. The only thing I can think of, Spaz is right the mesh wick just stimulates different parts of tastebuds, and also the observations u've added compound the lack of flavors For next attempt, I'm going try mesh with NiCh R wire coiled in a tight...

Im curious, are there many reg ohm builders out there or am I the only "dinosaur"?

I also prefer the not-so-SLR-vape. Just doesn't have that "zen, peaceful" vaping experience I've grown to enjoy. Rule62, I quoted your setups mainly bc I think we almost have exactly the same gear, unless u got rid of the cobra:( Your using 30ga K, is that correct? That's what I use for VV and...

    Malty Toffee in a genesis

Thanks Eddie, very well put and in all honesty, only reason have been beating my head about it, every other liquid I have will taste almost "the same" as when it's dripped(even a straight caramel, dark liquid). And being that MT has been an ADV, it just baffles me that it is such a difference...

    Malty Toffee in a genesis

thanks EddieAdams for your input as you have pointed out something i've noticed on RBA wick...the top of the wick caramelizes after a tank(3ml), the bottom of the wick that is being directly hit from the airhole stays pretty clean when compared to the top. The airflow is not "even" across the...

    Malty Toffee in a genesis

Yeah Malty will mix well with anything, although i find that the result gives the new juice body and depth...almost like every juice should have this. I used to treat malty this way, now it's gold on its own. If spaz says don't mix with Casa, I'd take his word for it, seems like he's gone thru...
